No doctrine... no dogma... just Christian faith and fellowship!
How many churches have a fan site? Well, this is a fan site forCorydon Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
-- For one thing, how many churches have a parenthetical phrase as part of its name? Gotta love it!
"From silly devotions,
and from sour-faced saints,
good Lord, deliver us."
--Teresa of Avila, 16th-century theologian
The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) originated on the American frontier in the late 1800's as a movement to unify Christians. The church has no dogma or creed except belief in Jesus Christ. No church authority establishes or requires adherance to any official doctrine; each member follows his or her own conscience.
